Kartam Bhugtam Movie Review: “Kartam Bhugatam” is a psychological thriller directed by Soham P Shah, starring Shreyas Talpade and Vijay Raaz in the lead roles. What goes around comes around (Jaisi Karni Waisi Bharni) is a popular proverb, filmmaker Soham P Shah has based the story of his latest film “Kartam Bhugatam” on it.
Earlier filmmaker Soham has made films with big actors – Kaal (2005) and Luck (2009), but, unfortunately, they did not receive good response at the box office.

Movie Story
For this film, filmmaker Soham has taken the help of astrology, which is related to astronomy. But still the story of his movie did not seem special. Shreyas Talpade is seen playing the character of Dev, who leaves his girlfriend Jiya (Aksha Pardasani) and comes to Bhopal from New Zealand to sell his dead father’s property, but due to the passage of time, Dev loses all hope. His friend suggests him to meet a small astrologer Anna (Vijay Raaz) to seek help… The story of the movie will see progressing on this basis.
Movie Review
The story of “Kartam Bhugatam” looks old, it is not such a fancy and expensive thriller. The film is very boring, yes, but one can easily sit through the second part. The main flaw is its execution which makes “Kartam Bhugatam” look like Savdhaan India or Crime Patrol.
Even technically, this film of Soham stands nowhere, the dubbing of the secondary actors in the film is extremely terrible. This is disturbing and spoils the quality of the film.
Overall, the movie “Kartam Bhugatam” is an avoidable series. A safer option is to watch reruns of crime-based television shows instead.
