Victoria Memorial

The Victoria Memorial is arguably the most popular tourist attraction in the huge city of Kolkata. Built during Queen Victoria’s reign in India, this relic was built to honour 25 years of her rule. Howrah Bridge

Just over the Hooghly river lies the steel bridge that connects Kolkata with Howrah, called the Howrah bridge. Why is it special? It has a size and structure that is quite honourable, currently, it is the sixth-longest cantilever bridge in the world. Such is its glory that it was renamed “Rabindra Setu” in 1965, chosen to honour the great Rabindranath Tagore.

Fort William
