Filed A Lawsuit Over A Hollywood Pizza Accident
A Los Angeles driver filed a lawsuit against Alan Ruck, the actor from “Succession” and also “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off,” on Thursday. The motorist alleges that Ruck created a chain-reaction collision in Hollywood that severely hurt him and totalled his car.
In a seven-page case submitted to Los Angeles Superior Court, Horacio Vela’s attorneys claim that Ruck was negligent and are requesting an amount of money over what is prescribed. The multi-vehicle collision at the junction of La Brea Avenue & Hollywood Boulevard on October 31 at around 9 p.m. was reported, along with significant damage to Raffallo’s Pizza.
Upon arrival, Los Angeles fire officials found a three-car collision with one vehicle that had part of its front end inside a small commercial building. An ambulance was sent for two unidentified people, and a 32-year-old man was admitted to the hospital. The driver of a Rivian R1T pickup tRuck, later identified as Ruck, is accused of violently striking Vela’s Hyundai Elantra when it was stopped at a red light at La Brea Avenue and Hollywood Boulevard.
According to Vela, the force of the strike caused his car to enter the intersection, collide with another vehicle, and then turn into La Brea Avenue. After EMS removed Vela’s automobile from the scene, he was transported to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
Lawyers representing Vela claim that he was told by medical staff that he had a subdural hematoma after he passed out after the hit. His present memory issues, fogginess, and dizziness, according to his attorneys, are symptoms of brain injury.
