Coaches of Thai League 1 for the Upcoming Season

The 2021 Thai League 1 season has been delayed until August 13 due to the onslaught of the Covid-19 pandemic and the Football Association of Thailand said that the move is essential for the safety of the players and the staff.

Totchtawan Sripan – Bangkok United

He is the Thai professional head coach of The Bangkok Angels. He was a former footballer who played either a central midfielder or attacking midfielder.

Dusit Chalermsan – BG Pathum United

He is a retired football player and now the current manager of the Thai League 1 football clubs BG Parthum United and Port F.C.

Alexandre Gama – Buriram United

Gama is a Brazilian football manager and he is currently coaching The Thunder Castles. Gama was born in Rio de Janeiro in Brazil. He is also regarded as the best Thai coach among all sports that is being played in Thailand.

Emerson Pereira – Chiangrai United

Emerson is a professional football coach of the Thai League 1 club, Chiangrai United Football Club. He was born from Sao Paulo, Brazil and played as a former midfielder.

Sasom Pobprasert – Chonburi

He is the incumbent football manager of The Sharks. Sasom is also a former footballer and played for the national team and scored one goal. He is also currently a pundit for TrueVisions and PPTV channel.

Mario Gjurovski – Muangthong United

Gjurovski is a Macedonian professional football coach and he was born in Serbia. He is currently signed to coach the football club Muangthong United.

Teerasak Po-on – Nakhon Ratchasima

Po-on is a Thai professional football manager who is currently managing The Swat Cats. He was a former football player and served as a defensive midfielder and also played in the 1997 FIFA World Championship.

Rangsan Viwatchaichok – Police Tero

Rangsan Viwatchaichok aka Aon, is a retired football player and is now coaching the football team, Police Tero Football Club. He formerly played in four club teams in Singapore and Thailand. Aon is also known for his elaborate set pieces.

Sarawut is a Thai football coach of the Thai football club, Port F.C. He is also a former football player.

Thawatchai Damrong-Ongtrakul – PT Prachuap

Thawatchai is a former former football player who played as a midfielder and defender for the Thai national team. He is the incumbent manager of the Thai football team, PT Prachuap Football Club.

Somchai Maiwilai – Ratchaburi Mitr Phol

Somchai Maiwilai is a Thai football coach and the current coach of the men’s Thai football team, Ratchaburi Mitr Phol Football Club.

Masami Taki – Rayong

Masami is a Japanese football coach and he is the current manager of the Thai men’s professional football team, Rayong Football Club also known as The Dragon Horses.

Masatada Ishii – Samut Prakan City

Ishii is a Japanese football manager of the Thai football team, Samut Prakan City Football Club. He was born in Ichihara in Chiba Prefecture, Japan and he is also a former player and played for J1 League.

Surapong Kongthep – Sukhothai

Kongthep is a professional football manager of the Thai League 1 team, Sukhothai Football Club. He is also a former football player and served as a midfielder.

Adebayo Gbadebo – Suphanburi

Adebayo is a Nigerian professional football coach who is currently managing The War Elephants. He was born in Lagos, Nigeria and attended the University of Ibadan and finished with a bachelor’s degree in sociology.

Phayong Khunnaen – Trat

Phayong is a Thai professional football coach of the Thai football team, Trat Football Club based in Trat Province.
