Hey everyone! I’ve been diving into the Diablo 4 Season 9 PTR, and I wanted to share my personal experience playing a Landslide Druid build that absolutely crushes Torment 4 content — without any mythic gear. That’s right, no crazy grind for starless sky or other rare drops — just raw, earthy power. Let’s break it down step by step.
Skill Tree Overview
This build revolves around Landslide as the core damage skill while leveraging the new Werebear synergy in Season 9. Here’s the core of my setup:
- Skip basic skills (2 points only).
- Main: Landslide with Primary Landslide.
- Passives: Vigilance, Preserving Blood Howl, Innate Debilitating Roar.
- Damage boosts: Nature’s Reach, Earthen Might, Quickshift.
- Utility: Poison Creeper (important for synergy).
- Defensive/CC: Petrify & Hurricane.
Gear Choices (No Mythics Required)
My setup used only what I found during the PTR — no mythics, just uniques and legendaries. Here’s what worked best:
- Vasily’s Prayer: Converts Earth skills to Werebear skills.
- Insatiable Fury: Gives +5 to Werebear skills and boosts uptime.
- Subterranean: Poison Creeper casts Landslide and boosts Earth damage to poisoned enemies.
- Tibault’s Will: Bonus damage while Unstoppable (granted via seasonal powers).
- Ghostwalker: Movement speed while Unstoppable.
- Earthbreaker: Core Landslide Unique — extra projectiles, huge damage.
- Optional: Stormshifter’s Aspect if you lack Tibault’s.
Weapon + Tempering Tips
I used a polearm with the Aftershock aspect. Be sure to temper for:
- Double Landslide projectile chance (masterwork this 3x if possible).
- Cooldown Reduction (especially if using Hurricane).
Seasonal Powers & Gems
Season 9 introduces Celestial Surge, Glacial Nimbus, and more. These are game changers for this build:
- Tranquil Stone: Grants Unstoppable every time you activate your catalyst.
- Bloody Charm: Triggers Petrify and grants Vulnerability.
- Spirit Bound: Reduces elite damage, boosts crit damage & ult uptime.
- Celestial Surge + Glacial Nimbus: Auto-casts Landslide and applies chill.
Paragon Board Highlights
I’m still testing the optimal board, but here’s the current setup I used successfully in Tier 2 and 3 Nightmare Dungeons:
- Fang and Claw: For increased Werebear performance.
- Sinister Tendrils: Poison synergy with Subterranean.
- Ancestral Guidance: Adds massive value to Earth skills.
- Earth and Devastation: Big boosts to Landslide.
Real-World Torment 4 Performance
Let me be honest — this thing shreds. I cleared a Tier 2 Nightmare Dungeon with 4 affixes including cold damage boost and enemy movement speed, and it felt smooth. With no mythics, just solid synergy, the build performed way above expectations.
I wasn’t using fully masterworked gear either — mostly mid-roll items from PTR drops. But even so, the combination of Landslide’s burst damage, Unstoppable uptime, and fast cooldowns thanks to Bloody Charm and Catalyst gems made it feel fast and lethal.
Where To Get Cheap Diablo 4 Gold
If you’re short on resources for rerolling or buying upgrades, visit AKRPG for cheap Diablo 4 gold. I use it regularly to fund rerolls and buy items without wasting time grinding low-efficiency gold farms. Great source for fast D4 Season 9 gold at a low price.
This No Mythic Landslide Druid is easily one of my favorite setups for early Season 9. It’s durable, hard-hitting, and doesn’t rely on endgame RNG. Whether you’re farming D4 Season 9 gold or pushing nightmare tiers, this build gets it done.
Try it out, tweak it with your own drops, and let me know how it works for you. And if you need more currency fast, grab cheap Diablo 4 gold and dominate the PTR like I did!
Thanks for reading, and good luck out there in Sanctuary!
