Copy Trading Bot

Copy Trading Bot for Telegram: What It Copies, What It Skips and What You Pay on Banana Gun

A copy trading bot places your own order whenever a wallet you picked buys, and sells when it sells if you turn that on. Banana Gun, a Telegram trading bot, skips tokens outside the market-cap range you set, above the tax limit you set or already bought in the last 7 days, and per Banana Gun’s docs charges 1% on Solana plus gas and tip.

Settings, fees and chains differ from bot to bot, so each claim below comes from that bot’s own docs: Banana Gun, Trojan, GMGN, Maestro, BonkBot and Axiom, dated where quoted.

Every copy lands after the trade it copies.

What does a copy trading bot copy?

Buys, and sells if you switch Copy Sells on. On Banana Gun’s Telegram trading bot you open /copytrade, tap New Copy Trade, paste the target wallet address, add a description, pick your wallets and flip the toggle from Inactive to Active.

Size comes from Buy Fixed, Buy Percent or Buy Exact, and Max Buy caps each copied buy. An Active time setting decides how long the copying runs, for example 8 hours.

Coverage has limits. Per Trojan’s docs (read 21 Oct 2026), wallets that buy through custom programs cannot be copied, and not all pools are supported.

For a direct look at the two bots, see Trojan bot vs Banana Gun on copy trading, limit orders and chains.

What does it skip?

The rules below are all in Banana Gun’s docs, and the full setup is in the guide to copy trade on Solana.

Min Market Cap and Max Market Cap set a range. The docs example is Max $500K: a leader buy at $600K does not copy. Tax Limit skips any token taxed above the limit you set.

Buy Only Once blocks a token for 7 days after your first buy, so a leader who keeps adding does not make you keep adding. Blocked Tokens is a list of tokens the bot will not buy.

Spending Limit is the total per wallet, and trades above it fail. Set it too low and the copying ends early.

Rivals filter too. Per Trojan’s docs, its advanced settings include a Market Cap range, Minimum Liquidity, Max Spend Per Buy, Exclude Launchpad Platforms and Prevent Duplicate Buys.

GMGN’s docs list filters for market cap, liquidity, token creation time and minimum pool burnt ratio (both read 21 Oct 2026).

What does a copy trading bot cost?

Per Banana Gun’s docs, the fee is 1% on Solana and 0.5% on Ethereum manual buys and limit orders. The 0.5% rate covers those two order types, not copy trades.

Gas and tip come on top. Per the same docs, for a failed buy you can raise buy gas from 0.001 to 0.005 or higher and the MEV tip from 0.001 to 0.005 or higher, so budget for both.

Four rivals quote 1% in their own docs, read 21 Oct 2026:

  1. Trojan: “Trojan charges 1% per successful trade”, plus SOL cashback by rank.
  2. GMGN: “only charges a 1% handling fee for a single transaction”.
  3. BonkBot: “we charge 1% fees on each successful swap transaction”.
  4. Maestro: “Maestro charges a 1% fee on every successful buy and sell”.

Axiom is the one with a ladder. Per its fee page, read 27 Oct 2026, the Wood tier pays 0.95% net plus 0.05% cashback in SOL, and Champion pays 0.75% net plus 0.25% cashback. Tiers rise with your volume on Axiom.

Axiom’s docs, all 34 pages read on 27 Oct 2026, include no copy trading page, so the ladder is Axiom’s trading fee.

Which bots copy on which chains?

Banana Gun copies on Solana, per its Solana docs, and on Robinhood Chain, per its blog post of 10 Aug 2026. The bot has a built-in bridge at /bridge for moving funds between supported chains, and gas on Robinhood Chain is ETH.

Per Trojan’s docs, it is a non-custodial Solana terminal with copy trading. Per GMGN’s docs, “only the SOL chain supports wallet copying”, with a maximum of 10 wallet copy tasks.

Maestro’s docs say copytrade is “available on every EVM-compatible chain and on Solana”. Of the docs read here, that is the longest list of copy trading chains.

BonkBot’s docs, read 21 Oct 2026, do not describe copy trading. Axiom’s docs do not either.

What can a Telegram trading bot not do when it copies?

Lag comes first. Trojan’s docs warn that copying a wallet that buys in the first seconds of a launch means “you will land several blocks behind, buying the top of their candle”. Copies on Banana Gun land after the leader’s trade too.

A leader’s record also moves under you. GMGN showed point farm capital at -$1,163,571 realized over 30 days on 20 Oct 2026 and -$271,630 on 27 Oct 2026.

Both are losses, and GMGN’s 30-day windows roll, so the two figures cover different 30 days. A Spending Limit caps how much of your balance the copy can spend; it does not change the leader’s record.

Exits are the last gap. With Copy Sells off, the bot does not mirror the leader’s sells. A limit order from the copy menu waits for its trigger, and if the price never reaches it, nothing sells.
