Copy Trade on Telegram or a Web Terminal: Which One Should Place Your Next Solana Order

Banana Gun trades Solana through two different surfaces. One is the Banana Gun Telegram bot. The other is Banana Pro, a web terminal at pro.bananagun.io.

Same wallet, same network, two different ways to work. Neither one replaces the other. You pick based on what the trade in front of you actually needs.

A recent recap on Solana’s momentum and the new tools landing across Banana Pro is a good place to see what each surface actually looks like in use.

Both cover Solana in full. The difference is how you want to work, not what you can trade.

When the Telegram Bot Is the Right Call

The bot lives where you already are. You do not open a new app or log into anything separate. You type a command and it runs.

Solana is a core chain for Banana Gun, and the bot routes trades through Raydium, Pump.fun, Orca, and Meteora. Market buys, limit orders, pending orders, and copy trading all run from the same chat window.

Honeypot detection is on by default, so the bot blocks contracts you would not be able to sell. Anti-MEV protection is on by default too, running through Jito on Solana.

Trading on Solana through the bot carries the same fee as every non-Ethereum chain Banana Gun supports, 1%. That number does not change depending on where you place the order.

This is where a quick move belongs. You see something worth acting on, you send one message, and you move on with your day.

What You Get on Banana Pro’s Screen

Banana Pro is built for a different kind of session, the one where you want more than a chat window in front of you.

It is a modular, drag-and-drop workspace. You arrange the pieces you want and leave the rest off your screen. There are 13 widgets available: Buy, Sell, Snipe, Limit Orders, Copy Trade, Pending Orders, Positions, Transaction History, Wallets, Watchlist, Bubble Map, Token Info, and The Trenches.

That is a full trading desk, not a single command line. You can watch your positions, check a token’s info, and place an order without switching between three different tools.

Put the Positions widget next to Watchlist and you are tracking what you hold and what you are considering in the same glance. Add Bubble Map or Token Info when you want a closer look at a specific token before you commit to it.

For a session where you are actively watching the market and not just reacting to one alert, that layout does more for you than a chat feed can.

The Chain Roster on Each Side

The two surfaces do not cover the exact same ground. The Telegram bot added Robinhood Chain support on day one, no waitlist and no separate setup. Banana Pro does not support Robinhood Chain.

Banana Pro covers Ethereum, Solana, BNB Chain, and Base. For Solana specifically, both surfaces work, so this is not a coverage question for the trade you are placing right now.

That gap between the two surfaces is worth knowing before you settle into one as your only tool, even if it does not change today’s Solana order.

One Sign-In, No Custody Handoff

Whichever surface you pick, signing in does not hand your funds to anyone else. Banana Gun runs on Privy, so you log in with Google, Twitter, or Telegram and your wallet stays non-custodial.

That holds true whether the order came from a chat message or a widget on Banana Pro’s screen. The account behind it does not change.

The fee structure carries over the same way. A Solana trade costs the same 1% whether you typed it into the bot or clicked it from a widget.

Choosing Between Them

Neither surface is the backup option. They are built for different moments in your trading day.

Reach for the Telegram bot when you need to act fast and you are away from a screen. Reach for Banana Pro when you want the wider view: your positions, your watchlist, and a token’s details laid out at once.

A lot of Solana traders end up using both, switching depending on where they are and what the trade calls for. Nothing stops you from doing the same with one wallet across either surface.

If you have not tried either one, the simplest way to find out which fits your routine is to start trading and see how it feels for the way you already work.
